There are two ferry
services that go to Ewell.
The two ferries are:
"Capt Jason" phone number 410 425 5931, and "Island Belle"
phone number 410 968 1118.
The ferries operate
daily leaving Smith Island at 7:30 AM arriving in Crisfield at approximately
8:15 AM, departing Crisfield at 12:30 PM and arriving at Ewell at approximately
1:15 PM, departing Ewell at 4:00 PM and arriving at Crisfield at 4:40 for a
brief 20 minute layover and departing Crisfield for the final trip to
Ewell at 5:00 PM. Check with the operators for schedule changes before making
plans as sometimes the schedules do change.
Bring bikes, kayak,
fishing rods (great rock fishing within walking distance of cottage), etc.
